The mobile phone is so popular because of many reasons. First of all, it is a very useful communication tool. Second, it is a fashionable product which many youths want to have. Mobile phone manufacturers have used famous stars as their propagandists. However, the mobile phone can also become a nuisance sometimes. In a classroom when everybody is taking an important exam, the ring of a mobile phone causes almost some kind of sound pollution. Those who have mobile phones should avoid disturbing others in public places.

Any new invention has its drawbacks, and such negative aspects cannot always diminish its popularity. Despite the negative effects of television, for example, the number of people who own televisions continues to grow at a tremendous rate. This is also the case with mobile phones. People won't stop eating just because of the risk ofchoking. In addition, the swift development of science and technology will likely eliminate the hazards cell phones may cause. One can safely predict, therefore, that with the introduction of new techniques, mobile phones will have more applications and become even more appealing to customers.

However, it may also bring us some trouble. For example, if someone calls you by mistake, you will have to pay for this kind of unnecessary calls. And the radiation from the phone may do harm to our health, In spite of this, the number of people having mobile phones is still increasing steadily.

But there are also many people disagree with it . they don't agree beacuse the mobile phone usually disturb the teachers and other students who like study.
