　　一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)主要用于：

　　1、表示經(jīng)常性或習(xí)慣性動(dòng)作。

　　e.g.Itseldomsnowshere.

　　2、表示現(xiàn)在的特征或狀態(tài)。

　　e.g.Heisalwaysreadytohelpothers.

　　3、普遍真理。

　　e.g.Actionspeakslouderthanwords.

　　4、劇情圖片介紹，背景說明，動(dòng)作解說。

　　e.g.(Tomenterstheroom_and_sitsatthetable)

　　Doctor：What`syourtrouble,youngman?

　　Tom：I`vecaughtacold,doctor.

　　5、時(shí)間、條件、讓步、方式狀語從句表將要發(fā)生的動(dòng)作時(shí)。

　　e.g.Tomorrowweshallgoforanoutingunlessitrains.

　　與這種時(shí)態(tài)連用的時(shí)間狀語常有：

　　always,often,never,seldom,usually,once,aweek,now等。
